I’ve made a lot of different bowls and vases since I began turning wood in 1963. After a long break, I picked it up again in 2008, adding segmented wood bowls to my repertoire. Some of my simpler work is made in batches resulting in a handful of similar pieces. My more complicated segmented wood projects can take months of planning, piecing, and turning.
